So... we're in the map!

Greetings from London!

After a long day of traveling... for me, it was over 14 hours (flying+layovers)... but I made it!!

Everyone at the London Center is extremely nice and approachable! They know my name because well... I am the only Soo Mee Kim in the entire group... in fact, this is not unlike my orientation before our first year.... you know... where I'm the only asian... haha... yes.

Anyways... we went to one restaurant/bar and felt out of place because 1. we didn't know how to order food b/c there was the bar, no waiters/tresses 2. ppl in there were dressed 'better' than us who looked way too tired and dead.... so, we ate at The Stanhope Arms... delicious... and filling.... mmmm food. I did not order an alcoholic beverage as momo (corona) and jason (fosters) did... but it was deeeelicious anyways... and we tipped the waitress... tho... we are not supposed to! we actually sat there wondering if we should...

We went flat hunting today! we saw 2 places... one was good because well, it's £75 per week per person, all inclusive, and though it is a bit small, it definitely seems to be worth it. Another place we saw was a 6 person one because the 4 person one was taken when we got there... literally... alas... so we're gonna live in the first one we looked at b/c we liked it and didn't want it to be taken away while we were looking at the other places that we're probably not going to live at.

Nothing really exciting has happened yet, and it really hasn't it me yet that I am in London, in another country! Now, we're definitely living in London... How AWESOME... still hasn't hit me yet though...

Craziness, eh?

We'll hopefully be able to do some fun fun stuff since we are situated as of now... hehe... can't wait!!!

I'll post more later here... hopefully, it'll be a bit more interesting... I'm sure momo's emails will have more things in them ... hehe... i'm just too lazy ... you know me...
