Let the Flatting Begin!

So, we've moved into our flat and have settled in quite quickly, not that we have much time to dilly-dally I suppose.

Momo and I are living in the larger room because Jason's logic was - he is barely going to be there anyways - which is true enough - he has like a bizillion plays to see each week.

We've gone food shopping twice within the span of like 2 days because 1. we have to carry things w/o a car 2. the second trip was us basically stocking up for the next week or something like that ... though I suspect the food will last us for a bit longer than that.

Libby went to see the Jerry Springer Opera last night, which I will probably see on Thursday. Hopefully, it'll be fun to watch.

Jason, Momo, and I had chicken wings for dinner because 1. we were too lazy to make anything else, and 2. yea... that's the only reason. Then after, while Jason's laundry was in the washer... for AN HOUR AND A HALF - Jason and I played Scrabble while watching ER with Momo. I won the scrabble game because near the end, I spelled TITANIUM and got 80 points... MUAHAHAHAHAH... I like to win.

I don't know if Jason's ever really watched ER because he kept saying WHY DO YOU WATCH THINGS LIKE THIS? so we just didn't answer him. Channel 4, which is really channel 3 for us, has the most odd collection of American TV shows like ER, Simpsons, Smallville, Point Pleasant, and so forth - all different stations back home... but don't worry, we won't be glued to the TV... because 1. the show's we'd watch are on at 9pm-11pm or something like that and 2. the TV is fuzzy and static-ky and 3. we'll hopefully have more of a life than watching TV.

My schedule is pretty lax - Mondays I will probably in New Malden/Kingston to work on my Research Methods; Tuesdays I work at the Center from 12:30-4:40 or something like that, Wednesdays and Thursdays I have classes, and I will likely be seeing plays/shows/bands/etc. on Thursdays. Then on Fridays, I will be either traveling or going back to New Malden/Kingston...

Oh yea... on our last night at the hotel, I ordered room service - Mushroom soup and some white wine - sauvignon i think, but they didn't have it, so they just sent up a bottle of Chardonny (how ever you spell that) - but I thought it tasted like poo - apparently, I don't like white wine... so Momo drank like 3/4 of the bottle... hehehe...

then the first night we moved in, Momo and I went in search of a telephone booth b/c we don't have a land line, and it's cheaper to use it to call home - so instead of crossing the street when we came to one about 1.5 blocks away, we went down several more blocks til we found one on our side of the street... after making the call we went into a liqeur store and I got a bottle of Smirnoff ice... just b/c that's the only alcohol I can tolerate so far and I just wanted to have one around the house... just b/c... or is it because i'm an alcoholic :P...

Oh yea - and yesterday, Jason and I each bought a cheap laundry hamper - and when jason opened it when we got home, it hit him in the FACE... AHAHAHHAHAAHA it still makes me laugh...

Anywho, I'm working right now at the library... and why did no one tell me how long the damned work study quiz was?! SO LONG... OH MAN. at least it's done now.
