Cheers!
Hello all -
Thanks for the emails on my birthday :)
So... I don't really remember what I wrote on my last one... I could go back and see ... but... being the lazy piece of shit that I am... no.
Classes have begun... and they're not too bad, save the weird class conflict with the Drama & the London Theatre (which will now shall be referred to as DLT) class because stupid IC home campus messed up and now people will be getting screwed over... though I hope that I am not among them...
I think I will be seeing about 2-4 performances per week excluding the ones that I will likely see outside of class. I think Jason's seeing a whole lot more though...
Um... Nothing too exciting has occurred... ummmm... I went to Piccadilly to pick up a book at Waterstone Piccadilly... which is this huge HUGE bookstore that has like seven floors with cafes and a restaurant.. and a travel booking place... go figure... and I stayed there for about an hour or three then on my way back to the flat... and when I was on the tube, it made a stop at Knightsbridge... where Harrod's, one of the biggest shopping centres in London, is located, so I just decided to get off there then went to Harrod's... bought a gift for Sybil's new baby... um.. if you're reading this and you work at campus center... DON'T TELL... b/c I'm not sure when it will get there... if ever...
Um... I think that was Friday... then we tried to go out, then couldn't really muster up ... the mustard? to find a place to go...
Then yesterday, Saturday, was my birthday - whee... I'm all old and stuff.
We went to the science museum during the day... BEST MUSEUM EVER... it had lots of hands-on stuff which is always fun, and Jason, Libby, and I participated in a research experiment regarding linguistics and its process, I think... then, when we got out of the Museum, the tube stop we got out of was closed, then the next 2 were closed as well, then we finally found one that was open and hopped in with all the other confused londoners/visitors...
Momo baked a chocolate cake and it was gooooooood.... I got Harry Potter and the PHILOSOPHER'S Stone DVD from Jason and Libby, and I got a Barry Trotter book and Snow Magic from Momo and I got a 4-pac of Smirnoff Premium Ice... oooahh... and a bottle of peach schnapps... and I gots whole bunch of emails from people in Ithaca and from my daaaaaaaad and mommmmm... awww my parents are becoming tech savvy... *tear* ... they're all growed up.
OH YEA.. someone tried to come into our flat the other day... hopefully it was someone that just had the wrong door.... hehehe... yayyyyyyyy
OH AND, there was some kind of surprise birthday party for some 16yr old and they were loud til forever and all these obnoxious 15yr olds were outside, but you know, it's not unlike my floor. at all. I thought we should have joined their party yesterday because it's my birthday too, but, then I would have kicked all the youngsters' asses because they'd be annoying or something...
Anywhoooo that's enough nonsense for now... TATA!
