From Paris...

no... not Paris Hilton.... PARIS, FRANCE.

that's right... since thursday night, I've been in Paris, France. how f'd up is that dude?

{So this post is kinda weird because I started writing it in paris... then I ended up finishing it like a week later in london....}

We arrived in paris, tried to buy a ticket sur la machine, but a french dude ended up buying us the tickets b/c you need a card thing if you don't buy it at the window..

so we finally get on our train, and at our stop, i watched fro, the platform as momo didn't make it on getting off the train because... the doors are funny...

so as i laughed hysterically on the platform, getting weird looks from the french... when momo came back on the opposite train, we made our way to our, now this is a loose term... 'hotel'. we were completely sketched out because 1. our hotel is a bar... then we can get to the rooms thru the pink and lavender walls... 2. there was an old man at the tables talking at us, what was mostly insults at me... 3. our room numbers were printed and taped on.... 4. the room... so PINK... 5. the shower had no curtains...

but regardless, we went to sleep hoping that thngs looked better in the morning [it was pretty late whe we got in]...

and indeed... it definitely was - the breakfast was awesome... croissant et baguette...

Paris is really a blur... because we did so much!! I think the highlight for me is well... EVERYTHING....

The real first day there, we did a LOT of things after getting lost a little bit...

I think it was on the first day.. like I said... it's a little blurry... we went to some area near st.paul's and went to a bunch of museums.... they were pretty cool - we saw a place called... pizza momo... which is hilarious.... we went to the Picasso museum... which was AMAZING... anyone visiting paris should definitely make a stop there... I can't really remember what we did that night.... maybe i'll edit this entry after i find out from Momo... Oh! I think we went to Notre Dame... it was AMAZING... it's probably my favorite place in the whole of Paris.... I lit some candles, then bought my mom a rosary... which she's gonna love :D yay.... Momo and I were there for a while, especially because we were trying to take picture of the rose glass without using flash in the rather dark church.... it was after dusk... so it was a little hard to do because our digits kept blurring... then i don't remember where we went... I think it was the Eiffel... the Eiffel was amazing... except that even though I bought a ticket to go all the way up to the TOP, I had to stop at the second stage because... well I'm afraid of heights like no other! so momo went up to the top, i did not.... then we were hungry because we had eaten a really late lunch, so on the way back we stopped at a sandwich place and ate the most delicious gigantic sandwiches... mmmmm... then we passed out...

Then the next day, we spent the entire daylight... at the Louvre... even then, we didn't get to see ALL the exhibitions... especially after i kept wanting to sit because my feet died... but we got to see Mona Lisa, some of fragonard's paintings, a lot of sculptures, more paintings... it was fabulous....FAB U LOUS... We looked around the carousel I think, where there were a lot of shopping things... (this is all attached to the Louvre) then, we made our way to Champs Elysee... looked around some stores... Arc de Triomphe ... the McDonalds there were really clean and fancy and had security guards dressed in suits..... then we went to a pub near our hotel, and had... IRISH coffee... that's right... IRISH coffee... in Paris... :P but it was crazy good and we got to hang out with a gigantic dog and the pub was pretty laid back so momo and i stayed there for a few hrs...

Let's see... oh on our last day in Paris, we went to the Pere Lachaise ... which is where all these famous people are supposedly buried... and I say supposedly because.. WE DIDN'T GET TO SEE ANY OF THEM... except for one... by accident... and it was Rossini's .... oh and i slipped and fell because it was starting to drizzle...and cobblestones get slippery, damn it! Then we miserably made our way to the Pantheon and by the time we got there, we were pretty soaked... so it was more like... look at that... how nice... then I pointed to an English pub next to it and said 'let's go there.' then we ate some good lunch... then made our way to the train station... where I proceeded to write some postcards... No promises that they will ever arrive because I don't know if the post box slot was the right one... then... while we were sitting there, it started to hail... inside the station... so we went to a more sheltered area where we proceeded to wait for the train, then we finally got back to the flat and proceeded to pass out, after telling fun stories...
